Live Nation Week 1

So. I guess I'm kind of late to this... uhm. Right so my first week of project was good. I was the only intern/senior project student so I have a leg up :D This week when the new interns came I ended up teaching them everything I learned last week. Also, it means I get to haze them. Just kidding. I'm all business. More on the first week.. Basically I got two boxes full of thousands of pieces of paper! Like if you go to a concert and you sign up to win something so you write down all your information and put it in a large box and then later hope that you win... well i'm working on shredding them... I got that on tuesday... I finished the first box yesterday. I haven't only had to shred though.. I got a long list of concerts and events that haven't been announced yet but are coming and when they are announced i get to enter them into the computer! Other then that I've been putting together packages to send to important people around cleveland. We're getting ready for the Rib Cook Off... which is a big 4 day event held memorial day weekend. Everyones kind of stressed about that.

So last week on thursday I went to a marketing meeting. It was kind of cool. They were throwing around ideas and I found out one of my favorite bands is coming! But there tour isn't going to be announced till May 13th so I can't tell you yet. We have those every week and everyone should have something to contribute. Except me. I'm just an intern.

Most of the stuff i've been doing is just busy work. Its the kind of stuff that keeps your hands busy but not your mind... so I can sit there and label things and watch spongebob at the same time! Unfortunately today I had to sit and listen to 2 and a half hours of intern training recordings. That was really boring. Kind of pointless too. That's all I can remember for right now but I'm also really tired and not feeling too well. So if I remember more i'll post it tomorrow. Night!
