Tuesday & Wednesday, Week 2

The past couple of days have been pretty routine. I come in, check the playroom, see who wants some company or ask Angela for an assignment. The typical games I play with the kids range from play-dough (or this strange new stuff called moon-dough which is like dry, grainy play-dough), to cards, and the board-games sorry and scrabble.

Probably the greatest event of note over these past two days relates to one little girl. She is two, in the hospital, in isolation (not allowed to leave to go to the playroom) and had no family to keep her company. So, it became my duty for a few hours to keep her company and keep her occupied. Lets just say that two-year-olds have incredibly short attention spans, and when all the toys are several hallways away and the child can't accompany you to pick out what they want..... yeah, well it can be a bit frustrating, but still rewarding all the same.
